5:30 vs 6:15 Women's Challenge



The 2nd annual 530 vs 615 womens only challenge has arrived! This is a challenge for Coach Jen Cardella's women's only classes. Last year was a tight race between the two classes with the 530 Ladies pulling ahead for a victory at the very end. This year is sure to be just as intense- Here are the details!

WHAT IT IS: ROPE CLIMBS, MILES RAN, MAN MAKERS, STRICT PULL UPS 

RULES:

  • WINNER OF THE CHALLENGE WILL BE POINTS ACCUMULATED IN THE MONTH OF MAY.
  • EACH CLASS WILL HAVE A CAPTAIN IN CHARGE OF POINTS AND ATTENDANCE
  • AT LEAST 10 WOMEN MUST BE IN CLASS FOR ANY POINTS TO BE EARNED THAT DAY. IF TEAM CAPTAIN IS NOT THERE-NOTHING COUNTS.CHOOSE WISELY. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • I WILL ALLOW 5 MINUTES EACH DAY TO RACK UP POINTS IN THE WARM UP PRIOR TO THE WOD.(REMIND ME)
  • 10 DOLLAR BUY IN FOR EACH LADY PARTICIPATING-WINNING CLASS SPLITS IT AND ORGANIZES HAPPY HOUR OF CHOICE LOCATION
ROPE CLIMBS: ONE CLIMB- 15 POINTS
  • MUST TOUCH THE CEILING EACH TIME.
  • MUST HAVE A PAD UNDERNEATH YOU OR IT DOES NOT COUNT
MILES RAN: ONE MILE- 15 POINTS
  • YOU CAN SHOW UP EARLY TO CLASS AND RUN. OR RUN OUT OF THE GYM. HONOR SYSTEM AND BUDDY SYSTEM. YOU MUST HAVE SOMEONE FROM YOUR CLASS WITH YOU DURING THE RUN. NO EXCEPTIONS. 

MAN MAKERS: ONCE MM=15 POINTS
  • ALL MM MUST BE DONE WITH 30LB DUMBELLS. 

STRICT PULLUPS: 1 PULL UP- 15 POINTS
  • FULL EXTENSION AT THE BOTTOM, CHIN OVER BAR.
  • NO BANDS
